Pusri Denied that Their Smoke is The Cause of The ‘Closed’ Eclipse

SRIPOKU.COM, PALEMBANG - Some of the citizen of Palembang who attend the process of Total Solar Eclipse felt disappointed that thew were unable to witness this rare phenomena completely.

“What do you expect us to see ? They told us that the clouds were going to be moved, but it was not. We could see the smoke coming out from their chimney. Meanwhile, PT. Pusri denied the allegations that their operational factory is the one that cause the eclipse to be blocked.

“It’s not the smoke from PT. Pusri, and PT. Pusri never sent out smoke,” said Sulfa Ganie, PR Manager of PT. Pusri.

Sulfa said that most of the people from PT. Pusri were also watching the eclipse and they have a documentation to proof that there were no smoke at that time.

“We were also witnessing it from the the factory of PT. Pusri, and we have the photo from our GPS,” said Sulfa.

Ir. H. Alex Noerdin, the governer of South Sumatera, confirmed that it was not because of the smoke from PT. Pusri Palembang.

“It’s not the smoke. It’s indeed the cloud. We saw that Pusri’s smoke was far below, not at the top. It’s because of the cloud. We hoped so much. But we were so gratefull for it. Thick cloud was at the top,” said Alex.
