Thousands of People from Prabumulih Will Held Eclipse Prayer

SRIPOKU.COM, PRABUMULIH -- In order to welcome the Total Solar Eclipse phenomena that will going to happen tomorrow, March 9th, 2016, the government of Prabumulih, together with the Minister of Religion of Prabumulih, also wtih thousands of people from Prabumulih will held an Eclipse Prayer (Sholat Gerhana).

This prayer will be centered in Agung Nur Arafah Mosque, Jenderal Sudirman Street, Prabumulih, and will start at 06.00 AM.

The invitation of this prayer was already sent to the public and the preparation for this prayer is almost completed.

"We hope that thousands of people, including religious leaders, mosque caretaker, islam organisations and also people of Prabmulih will join this event that will start at 06.00 AM," said the Head of Secretariat of Public Welfare of Prabumulih, H Mukarom, in Friday, March 4th, 2016.

Mukarom stated that his staff, along with the Ministries of Religion, has already sent the invitation and announcement to all mosque in Prabumulih, for the people to join the prayer.

"The prayer will be led by an Imam, Amal Coim LC, and acting as the khotib is the leader of Pondok Pesantren Al Furqon, H Mahmudi Basri," said Mukarom. (eds/TS)
