LAPAN Will Set Up Five Telescopes at Ampera Bridge

SRIPOKU.COM, PALEMBANG -- Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional (LAPAN/National Institute of Aeronautics and Space) will keep continuing their progress as the preparation for the Total Solar Eclipse, which is going to happen tomorrow, March 9th, 2016.

Five units of telescope will be prepared to watch this rare phenomena. Since morning, staff from Lapan was already seen preparing all kinds of stuff for this moment.

LAPAN's Head of Public Relations and Public Cooperation Bureau, Chrisdwanto, said that Ampera Bridge is one of the points that will be used to see the eclipse.

In Palembang, the process of Total Solar Eclipse will start at 06.20 AM. Meanwhile, total eclipse will last fot 1 minute and 51 seconds.
